Ensoniq sq-80 digital cross wave synthesizer-1

The Ensoniq SQ-80 is a classic digital synth from the 1980's which was famously used by John Carpenter for his films, such as Escape From New York and more.

The presets are loaded with nostalgic sounds from the era and can be edited to your liking. One of the main features is the aftertouch keys which gives it a distinct use for chord playing and brightening notes.

Provided with the synth is the power chord, the user manual and one floppy disk with preset sounds stored on it. There is no ROM cartridge available and there are slight signs of wear and tear (as you can see in the photos)

It is quite large and heavy - keep it in mind!

I am selling this item because I need to make my home studio smaller.
