Job Description

Our client is a well established CySEC licensed investment firm with offices in Limassol. They are currently looking for a Chief Financial Officer to add to their dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities

Driving the company’s global financial planning

Participate in the development of the corporation’s plans and programs as a strategic partner

Performing risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments

Control and evaluate the organization’s expenses

Ensure cash flow is appropriate and reliable for the organization’s operations

Supervise all finance personnel

Ensure quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements are completed accurately and timely in accordance with current regulations and/or guidelines

Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports

Able to work under pressure

Prepare ad-hoc deliverables requested by management and/or regulatory bodies

Liaise with banks and creditors of the Company

Prepare VAT submissions

Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends, in order to assist the Board and CEO in performing their responsibilities

Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies

Monitoring the company revenues

Responsible for the internal and external financial accounting & reporting of the company

Lead/assisted fund raising activities

Coordinate and control external auditors

Support of all of the functional areas throughout the company, including accounting, information systems, purchasing, manufacturing, sales and customer service

Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action

Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization; i.e., evaluation of potential alliances acquisitions and/or mergers and pension funds and investments

Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the corporation may enter

Requirements

BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field (MBA will be considered a plus)

ACCA / ACA / CPA qualified

Proven experience as CFO for a global company

In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices

Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

Proficient in the use of MS Office and Navision

Ability to strategize and solve problems

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Excellent communication and people skills

VAT/Tax knowledge

Minimum 2 years of experience in the Forex Industry
