Job Description

Our client is a service provider for banking, PSP, compliance, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. They require a knowledgeable individual to join their team as a IT Help Desk Support.

Job Responsibilities

Provide timely technical support for users and work with them to solve existing problems

Configure, monitor and maintain updated virus protection software, and backup data for emergency recovery

Administer and maintain systems support for software, hardware and servers, test, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve all problems

Reading products specifications and Working with several outsourcing contractors / vendors

Negotiate prices

Manage Inventory and warehouse storage list

Requirements

Fluency in English language

At least 1 year of experience in an IT field

Great sense of responsibility, high skilled, organized with excellent documentation skills and self-learning ability, good communication and verbal skill with great personal skills and service oriented

IT related certification from Vendors like Cisco (CCNA, CCNP or CCIE), Microsoft (MCSA or MCSE) and CompTIA (A+, Network+ or Security+) will be highly considered

Working Hours: 9:00AM-6:00PM & 12:00PM-9:00PM

NCC2 working shifts and duty shifts NCC2 working hours are flexible and are scheduled in shifts. Mostly shift time allocated to an NCC2 engineer is scheduled during business hours of the local office timezone. Shifts are normally attended by an NCC2 engineer on his workplace in the office, however in special cases duty can be attended remotely. NCC2 duty main responsibilities are: Assistance and supervision of NCC1 engineers Giving solutions for tasks escalated from NCC1 duty or escalating them to the expert level (NCC3). Implementation and maintenance of new or existing customer projects. Customer communication is done via e-mail through the internal RT ticketing system or by phone. Main language used for internal and customer communication is English, both written and spoken. Russian, Greek and Chinese are complimentary. In case customer is unable to communicate in English, customer preferred language should be used, with help of a knowledgeable colleague. All NCC engineers are required to use internal tools and resources provided for communication and troubleshooting. Expected level of expertise. You will be responsible for implementing new and maintaining existing frontends developed under React and other JavaScript frameworks.Here’s what you’ll do● Design and develop applications, user interfaces, frontend architectures and blueprints such that all business requirements can be met● Develop new single page applications and maintain existing applications involving React and various JavaScript toolkits and frameworks● Write client-side code and come up with prototypes quickly● Document and present design, architecture, and technical approaches to aid in code maintenance and code reuse● Lead and mentor less experienced team members in areas relating to web development standards, code reviews, database design, processes, and web technologies● Proactively anticipate roadblocks to accommodate product delivery schedules and collaborate with team members and managers for workarounds● Contribute to best practices, coding standards and code reviews in areas relating to web accessibility standards, code reuse, security issues, browser compatibility, performance and scalability concerns for enterprise class web applications● Assist in daily scrum meetings and change requests to ensure smooth sprints● Participate in post-implementation reviews and discussions by providing recommendations on process improvements, knowledge sharing, and communication flows for continuous optimizations● Work closely with the QA team members to ensure high quality deliverables● Provide time and size estimates for assigned project task● Debug defects and troubleshoot issues reported by the Software Quality Assurance and/or Client Services teams in a timely manner.Here’s what you’ll need● 2 years of experience in a similar role● Experienced in building large, scalable and maintainable Single Page Applications preferably using React● Core web fundamentals: HTML5, JavaScript, web security principles, strong CSS knowledge and responsive design● CSS preprocessors experience like Sass or LESS● Familiar with at least one JavaScript build tools like Grunt, Gulp, and Bower● Strong working knowledge in cross platform/browser compatibility (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.) on desktop and mobile devices● Experienced in data handling using AJAX, JSON, and REST API● Working experience in JavaScript libraries like jQuery or Backbone.js● Front-end (CSS) frameworks experience like Foundation or Bootstrap● Experience with managing browser memory, performance optimization, and mobile debugging is a big plus● Selenium considered an asset● React Native considered as asset● Degree in computer science or engineeringHere’s what we provide· A competitive compensation package· We are conveniently located in Limassol, Cyprus· The opportunity to work with brilliant people in an entrepreneurial, forward thinking environment· Weekly beer/wine mixer· Free company lunch every 2 weeks· Incredible social events!Qualified candidates should send a resume and cover letter . If you answered “Yes” to all of these questions, then Praecellens is the place for you!Quality Assurance Lead Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for training, mentoring and leading a group of software testers to ensure that all the software components and applications meet or exceed the highest quality industry standards. You will act as the go-to technical resource for test tool related impediments for the team and lead the design and implementation of both manual and automated test plans, whenever possible leveraging test automation. You will always represent the customer’s voice when it comes to the high-quality expectation that our customers entrust in us.Here’s what you’ll do· Train, mentor and lead a group of software testers.· Assign test plans and test cases to testers; plan and schedule resources; orchestrate test activities.· Ensure test objectives set by management are clearly understood by the testers. Create task breakdowns and progress reports.· Provide daily progress updates to management. Communicate test results and participate in defect triage meetings.· Act as the go-to technical resource for test tool related impediments for the team.· Ensure quality standards for a given software product release have been identified and met not only from a technical perspective; but also from a customer’s perspective.· Review test plans and test cases; identify gaps; update test cases.· Working with our ruby partner technology team, groom and update test plans and test cases as needed.· Execute manual tests; run automated tests; and record detailed observations / test results.· Follow the company test automation standards: identify gaps in the automated regression test suite; develop new / update and test the test scripts using Java and Selenium.· Ensure all defects are logged and documented according to the company’s Engineering standards in a bug tracking system.· Investigate and troubleshoot customer reported issues, escalated by customer support when needed· Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems· Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionalityHere’s what you’ll need· 3+ years related QA Analyst experience in manual software testing is a must· 2+ years in a QA Lead or related Lead position with a super reliable and customer centric attitude · Previous experience in test automation using Java and Selenium preferred.· Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Test Automation in a cloud-based environment.· Previous experience in working with GIT in a collaborative coding environment.· Experience in working with a distributed test team.· Hands on experience with the industry leading test management and testing tools.· Experience with Agile development/testing processes.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.· Proven analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.Here’s what we provide· A competitive compensation package· We are conveniently located in Limassol, Cyprus· The opportunity to work with brilliant people in an entrepreneurial, forward thinking environment· Weekly beer/wine meet up · Free company lunch every 2 weeks· Incredible social events!Qualified candidates should send a resume and cover letter.
