Our world-class technology helps you to leverage all available data sources such as TV, Radio, News websites, and Social Media all in one platform. We are looking for a responsible News Sources Manager who will play a key role in the operations and maintenance of the Media Mining platform CrossMedia Landscape.The selected person has to have the ability to learn the use of a complex software system, good basic understanding of electronic media, a good understand of the workings of the Internet (web-pages, RSS-feeds, ATOM-feeds) and the fundamentals of social media. Role ResponsibilityAs a News Sources Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Chief Operating Officer in successfully monitoring, developing and maintaining the performance of data sources on our new CrossMedia Landscape media monitoring platform. You will also be required to support some office administrative tasks, though as the role develops this is likely to become less.Product managing tasks would include:• Supporting the maintenance and development of data on the CrossMedia Landscape platform, including data management, creating and updating ontologies and profiles.• Adding and amending news sources on the platform as required• Configuring automatic reports as per customer requirements • Provide pro-active day-to-day management of key databases, management tools and customer enquiries• Provide general assistance to internal stakeholders and customers on a range of activities and deal with enquiries on products, performance and features of CrossMedia Landscape• Support the testing and continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures• Support the delivery of tenders and contracts, recording contracts. • Managing user accountsOffice administration tasks would include:• Assistant to the COO• Order processing • Financial reporting• Submitting and processing subscription invoices and setting up and producing performance management reporting• Making travel and meeting arrangements• Preparing reports and maintaining appropriate databases• Other duties as may be assignedExperience / Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and demonstrable knowledge in a Product Management role in a SaaS environment. In addition, you will have the following skills:• Willingness and ability to learn the use of a complex software system• Strong administrative skills and an aptitude for using IT software• Meticulous attention to detail• Excellent organization and time management• Excellent English language oral and written communication skills (German and/or Arabic language skills is an asset)• Proficiency in MS Office 365 (MS Excel in particular)• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures, qualification as an Office Manager is a plus• Responsible for managing their own work and is required to demonstrate good teamwork and collaboration.
