The series 'Children's tales from Europe' is really giant as in terms of mintages as in terms of coins included. It was issued 18 years ago and was the first colorised silver mintage in the world! By the way, as a collector's set it can be interested as for its sophistication, artistry and well-know characters as for good quality. We think that some characters look a bit ugly and do not reflect children's theme.
From investing perspective just Aladdin and Peter Pan coins in the series are interested because of their low mintages.
We have to admit these coins are not as sophisticated as contemporary since the technology is evolving. But if we compare coins minted that years around the world, Paris Mint was ahead that time as it does now. By the way, we consider these coins as a good collectible items, with low mintage they offer good capital protection but appreciation is impossible due to its giant mintage.
