Our client is an information technology company with corporate headquarters in Limassol, Cyprus. They are a world leader in the research and development world of state-of-the-art methods for ingesting data from heterogenous sources and adapting it to bespoke and intuitive solutions for civilian protection and they are currently looking to hire a skilled Penetration Tester to join their team. The ideal candidate will actively work on the conceptualization and implementation of innovative solutions for supporting and enhancing our Cyber Intelligence products.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards

Perform penetration tests, identify and record security flaws

Identify areas of high-level security breaches

Review and rate security networks

Communicating research results to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in the Telecom and/or R&D-related sector

Previous experience of the SS7 / Sigtran and the GSM / UMTS / LTE core networks

Knowledge of communication transport protocols (TCP / UDP / SCTP / SCCP)

A creative mind that thinks outside of the box

Demonstrated research and engineering skills

Vulnerability discovery and exploitation

Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting and debugging network-related protocols

Strong knowledge of scripting languages either Python or Bash

Experience with Linux O/S

Will be considered a plus:

Pen Testing experience on RF-related protocols and network infrastructure
