Senior full stack developer

Our client is a well-established global CFD broker offering traders access to CFDs across Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. They are currently looking to recruit a full-time Senior Full Stack Developer in their Limassol Office. The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 5 years experience developing and running WordPress/MODX multilingual websites as well as back-end experience with 3rd party API
integrations.
Job Responsibilities
Execute full website development life cycle
Work with a team to design and develop websites
Produce clean code based on specifications
3rd party API integrations
Website and landing page SEO optimization
Site speed optimization
Troubleshooting and debugging as well as technical and analytical problem-solving skills
Database management
Web/AWS hosting management
Ability to customize WordPress themes and plugins
Hands on development on MODX platform and multilingual site
Proper documentation of the development
Working in a highly collaborative environment
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or high-level of combination of education and experience
Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred
Minimum 5 year work experience as Web Developer, both front-end and back-end
Proven experience working with WordPress, MODX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, PHP/Laravel and SAAS
Good Knowledge of MySQL/RDS
Familiarity with any of the modern JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Angular)
Version control (GIT) and JIRA usage experience
Experience developing responsive websites
Fluency in English, both oral and written
Strong decision making skills, ability to work under pressure and manage the team
Considered an advantage to have knowledge experience with:
Ubuntu/Linux,SSH/Shell Scripting, reverse proxy usage and NGINX/Apache configuration
