Qa engineer

Our client is a CySEC regulated entity with headquarters in Limassol and offices abroad in different jurisdictions. They are looking for a QA Engineer to monitor every phase of the development process in order to ensure that the design and software adhere to company standards and the final product meets the requirements of the business

Job Responsibilities

Writing high-quality test cases both for manual and automated execution.

Execution of automated test suites and provide reports on the analysis of results.

Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.

Interact with the business to understand product requirements.

Perform stress test scenario on high availability products.

Work closely with the development team and project/product management.

Investigate client reported problems.

Keep track of quality metrics

Verify that the final product meets the requirement

Analyze product features and suggest changes to enhance them to make them more efficient and user friendly

Stay up to date with the latest industry developments, standards and regulations

Optimize the testing process

Requirements

BSC/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.

3+ experience years with both manual and automated testing.

Experience in testing Web and Client/Server applications.

Understanding of software QA methodologies, processes, and automation frameworks.

Experience in analyzing software specifications, designing, implementation and executing of test cases and procedures.

Working knowledge of test management tools (e.g. Jira, Zephyr ...etc.).

Excellent analytic, problem-solving, communication and presentation skills.

Attention to details

Team player with a sense of responsibility and accountability, self-motivated

Working knowledge of automated applications such as Katalon Studio (Selenium), Postman for Web APIs,

Experience understanding of SCRUM Methodology.

Working knowledge of SQL

Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence and GIT.

Experience web technologies, software development and testing using programming languages

Forex experience would be a bonus.
