Game publisher & studio manager

Our client is a well established firm providing different solutions, from SEM to hosting and security, to ad platforms, data analysis and content delivery, they manage all aspects of creating, maintaining, developing and marketing websites, programs and software.

For their Gaming division, they’re now looking for a Game Publisher and Studio Manager to join their team.

Job Responsibilities

Lead, inspire and motivate the studio with ambitious prioritized goals and by communicating a positive strategic vision

Excite the team and foster a fun and productive environment

Analyze existing structure and procedure and identify improvements. Work towards executing these improvements

Ensure a collaborative environment with other teams and offices is maintained

Develop regular action plans to drive business results and achieve financial goals

Focus on improving the studio’s financial performance, P&L and key metrics

Work with the development and production teams to improve the KPIs of all of our existing and new games

Monitor and be very familiar with all the latest games and successful/profitable game trends

Support the development cycle by identifying high potential projects, self-generating fresh ideas and coordinating the acquisition of new products

Working with the studio managers to ensure all programming and artistic needs and goals are consistently fulfilled

Requirements

4+ year experience as a Producer in the games industry

A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or another related field

A passion for the gaming industry

Previous experience managing a multi-disciplinary team

Candidate must have shipped at least two video game titles

Established verbal & written communication, people, presentation, organizational and documentation skills

Good combination of product sense (creative) and people skills

Detail orientated, quality focused and player centric

Curious and fast learner

High level of creativity
