This is a rescue camera lens that i bought from an ebay italian scamer. When i received the lens it was full of fangus and oils inside and i manage to clean and perform a special treatment to prevent it from getting fungus again. Check the Photographs that have been directly from the camera lens without photshop etc. to see how well this lens performs now.
This Fuji Photo Film EBC X-Fujinon SW 19mm f3.5 Lens, is an opportunity for the lovers of photography. Optics are clean of any fungus and dust. There is only a cracked glass element inside that happen during the clean up of the fangus (check the pictures) but i assure you it does not affect the experience of the shooting. Aperture is snappy and has no oil on the blades. The focus and aperture are very smooth.
The only issue this lens has is that the coating of the rear element in the center is damaged and that affects the quality of the photograph. It was the scam of the italian mafia guy on ebay ofcorse. It took me quite a while before i notice the damaged coating on the rear element. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to recover damaged coatings. However if you replace the rear element with a new one you get a 1000 euro/usd worth of optical history.
A very rare super-wide-angle lens that takes beautiful wide pictures. This is not a fish eye lens. Works well and overall it is a clean and beautiful lens except from that rear element coating. Reduced price because of the rear element issue and for quick sale.
