The legendary atomic master clock: a genuine rubidium oscillator (not a crystal VCXO) providing the ultimate timing reference for digital playback.

Original price $15,000 / ¥1,800,000 in 2009.

Works with any transport, DAC or streamer with a word-clock input (44.1/48/88.2/96/176.4/192 kHz + 100 kHz universal; three independent output sections; 8 BNC outputs, up to six devices simultaneously).

This unit — documented history: originally sold as G-0s in August 2004 (TEAC warranty card included, s/n 70021);

factory-upgraded by TEAC Esoteric Company to full G-0Rb specification on 20.09.2007 — official Upgrade Certificate VUK-G0RbFP with matching serial number included, together with the original Esoteric instruction manual and the 2007 factory upgrade booklet.

Purchased in working condition at a Japanese vintage audio auction 7-8 years ago and not used since — essentially zero additional hours on the rubidium core.

Function re-verified July 2026: powers up, rubidium locks and stabilizes ("Rb" indicator — see photo), all outputs selectable.

Three clock source modes: internal rubidium (Rb), internal crystal (Xtal), external 10 MHz reference (Ext).

100V Japanese mains — requires a step-down transformer (readily available; ~600VA ample).

Original box not retained; will be professionally packed (26 kg — proper crating for courier shipping).

Build quality beyond reproach: thick aluminium chassis, 5mm steel base plate.

Comparable working units currently sell for $3,900–4,000 abroad before shipping. Live demonstration with warm-up and Rb lock shown (Limassol district).
