Olympus AZ-230 Superzoom 35mm Film Camera – Tested & Working
This Olympus AZ-230 Superzoom is a powerful and easy-to-use 35mm autofocus film camera, known for its sharp 38–90mm zoom lens and classic Olympus reliability. The camera is in good overall condition, with some light scratches around the body from normal use, as shown in the photos.
It has been fully tested and performs flawlessly in all mechanical operations—film loads, advances, zooms, and rewinds exactly as it should, just like all my tested film cameras.
The optics are clean and ready for shooting.
The viewfinder has a few small dust particles, normal for older film cameras. These do not appear on photos—only in the composing stage. The view is still fully usable, though very detail-sensitive users may notice them. I included a close-up photo to show this clearly, and for this reason I am offering the camera at a special price.
One of the standout features of the AZ-230 is its unique built-in infrared remote control hidden at the bottom of the camera. You can unscrew it, set the small timer switch (1s/3s), and use it to take selfies, group shots, or tripod photos—an impressive and rare feature for a compact film camera of this era.
This camera takes 2× CR123A batteries (not included).
