Builder And Tiling Fixing The Tiler is responsible for the installation of ceramic, porcelain, marble, and other types of tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces in residential and commercial properties. Key Responsibilities: • Measure surfaces and calculate the quantity of materials required • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and waterproofing where necessary • Cut tiles to size using hand and power tools • Install tiles according to plans, drawings, and specifications • Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants correctly • Ensure alignment, spacing, and finishing meet quality standards • Repair or replace damaged tiles when required • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • Follow health and safety regulations at all times Requirements & Skills: • Proven experience as a Tiler or Ceramic Tile Installer • Knowledge of different tile materials and installation techniques • Ability to read technical drawings and layouts • Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship • Physical stamina and manual dexterity • Ability to work independently or as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: • Formal training or certification in tiling (if applicable) • Experience in residential renovations and/or new builds
