Very rare hand-decorated Royal Vienna porcelain plate, featuring a finely painted classical female portrait, richly gilt with elaborate gold ornamentation, circa late 19th century. A striking example of European decorative fine art.

Chrysanthemum

“Chrysanthemum” presents a softly painted and deeply poetic portrait of a young woman captured in a quiet, intimate moment. She gently holds blooming chrysanthemums in her hands, not tightly, but with a tender, almost hesitant touch, as if she is aware of their fragility. Her expression is calm and thoughtful, her gaze turned slightly aside, giving the impression of a private reflection rather than a posed portrait. The softness of her face, the delicate blush of her skin, and the natural flow of her features create a sense of serenity and inner grace.
