Ayia Thekla is a much sought after area along the coast about 6–6.5 km west of Ayia Napa town centre and close to the village of Sotira in eastern Cyprus. It’s most famous for its beautiful beach and small white-and-blue chapel overlooking the Mediterranean. Serviced with various bus services by Osea Bus Company and Intercity Bus Service.

A small white chapel stands on a rocky headland above the beach. It’s a popular photo spot with sea views and attracts both visitors and locals.

Nearby are underground catacombs/tombs, which were historically used as early Christian worship sites — possibly dating back many centuries.

The chapel operates mainly on certain feast days (including 24 September) but can be visited year-round.

Ayia Thekla is also a growing residential area with villa estates along the coast and holiday rentals, making it appealing for quieter stays near Ayia Napa.

The villa is located in a very quiet location of Ayia Thekla close to a virtually undiscovered beach. It has two bedrooms on the first floor which have great storage wardrobes wall to wall. Both bedrooms are double and both share a small balcony and a spacious family bathroom. The family bathroom also has a towel radiator. On the ground floor the open plan lounge, kitchen and diner give a nice open space to live, eat and cook, The open plan diner opens out to a bright sunny sun room/conservatory. This multi purpose sun room is currently used as an office but could easily be a sun room/second living space/dining space or ground floor bedroom.

Externally the area is very low maintenance with some low planting and beautiful trees. Covered portable pergola outside the sun room sweeping round to the covered or uncovered Hot Tub. The spacious frontage of the house is also low-maintenance.
