Learning support assistant limassol

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a 7-year-old child with special needs (semi-verbal), currently in kindergarten and preparing to transition to school in September 2026. Role Overview This is a position (07:30 – 14:00 + 1 hour - preparation of materials and reports), based in Limassol, Cyprus. The LSA will play a key role in supporting the child’s academic, social, and daily school routine. Key Responsibilities * Provide in-class support to the child during lessons * Assist with learning tasks, focus, and engagement * Support adaptation to the school environment and daily schedule * Accompany and supervise the child during breaks, lunch, and outdoor activities * Ensure the child’s well-being and safety throughout the school day * Assist the student with arrival and departure from school (driving licence is a plus) * Work closely with teachers, SEN department, and external specialists * Provide regular feedback and reports to parents * Support at home during sick days (same working hours) or school breaks * Maintain strict confidentiality and sign an NDA Candidate Profile * Legal working permit in Cyprus * Experience as an LSA, SEN teacher, therapist(OT, SLP) or working with children with special needs * Hands-on experience working with children with ASD or similar developmental profiles would be an advantage * Willingness to work within structured behavioural or developmental support frameworks (ABA experience is a plus) * Understanding of additional needs and child development * Proactive, energetic, positive, and responsible personality * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to follow structure while remaining flexible and proactive in approach * The candidate must have excellent command of English * A degree in Primary Education or SEND is a strong advantage * Police background check and medical clearance * Non-smoker * Long-term commitment Required What We Offer * Competitive salary above market level * Performance-based bonuses * paid 21 days of annual leave and paid Public Holidays * Official employment with a full contract and social insurance, benefits, annual bonus based on the results of the year of work * Supportive and collaborative working environment Salary: from €3000 gross(2500 Net) per month (for an exceptional SEN teacher-level candidate, salary can be discussed individually) Additional opportunity: For interested candidates, there may also be an option to add after-school support at home, with an appropriate lunch break and a corresponding increase in salary. School assistant / nanny needed for a wonderful 13-year-old girl

We are looking for a kind, responsible, and patient School Assistant / Nanny to support our 13-year-old daughter, who has developmental and learning difficulties. She is a calm, sweet, well-behaved, and friendly girl, and we are looking for someone who can become a positive and supportive presence in her daily life. Main Responsibilities: Pick up the child from home at 7:30 AM (Monday–Friday) and drive her to her English school (approximately 8–10 minutes away). Assist and support her during school hours with lessons and classroom activities. Help with homework and learning activities after school at our home from approximately 2:00 PM until 5:00–6:00 PM. Provide encouragement, guidance, and educational support tailored to her needs. Summer Schedule: From 22 June to 14 August, no work is required, as the child attends summer school. During other school holiday periods, the assistant will work approximately 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, helping to review school material, support development, engage in educational activities, play games, or accompany the child to the beach and other suitable activities.
