Τα Pioneer θεωρούνται απόλυτα κορυφαία διπλοκασετα επειδή είναι great performers στην ηχογράφηση και αναπαραγωγή ήχου, (eliminate hiss)είναι φορτωμένα με functions όσο κανένα άλλο, είναι αξιόπιστα και εύκολα στην χρήση και συντηρούνται σχετικά ευκολα.
Το συγκεκριμένο που είναι σπάνιο, παρέχει Flex= αναπαράγει τις ψηλές που χαθηκαν από παλιές κασετες, ALCA=auto rec level contrl by cassette analysis,ΤDΝR=Tape Dynamic Noise Reduction, Auto calibration BLE, CD sync, εκτος από τα στάνταρ Dolby Β/C/ Hxpro, music search +/- 10.
Εγινε συντηρηση (συνολικά 70 ευρω= καθαρισμα κ απομαγνητιση κεφαλών,λάδωμα 4capstan και 2 μοτέρ,2X ρύθμιση play speed, 2Xισοστάθμιση καναλιων, ρύθμιση-καλιπραρισμα bias και dolby levels με 4 συχνοτητες με το audacity (Record and play 4 συχνοτητες, 3 tape types TDK D/SA/MA) και αλλαγή ιμάντων με 4 καινουργια ποιοτικά κολανια απο Van Hurban =37,87eur (επειδή τα αξίζει), lubrication of capstan/motor bearings, calibration:azimouth adjust, play speed adjust, high speed/bias/dolby levels adjust, demagnitization.All electronic adjustments to factory specs according to the service manual.(fully servised and calibrated to specs)

New decks cost from 450-1000eur but they are of lower quality: the tooling has gone, the production chain of heads/mechs is gone, the engineers are gone. All they have now is what China OEM has to offer. China never developed cassette decks. At the time of deck development (80s-90s in Japan), China was making only poor quality plastic children toys.
