As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented **Accountant / Bookkeeper** to join our finance team in Limassol. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who wants to work in an international, fast-paced environment and play an important role in supporting the company's financial operations and senior management. ### The Role As an **Accountant / Bookkeeper**, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting activities, and preparing regular financial reports for the **CFO and senior management**. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work confidently with financial data in a regulated and international business environment. ### Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records. * Process accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Prepare and reconcile bank, payment provider, and other financial accounts. * Monitor transactions and investigate discrepancies or unusual items. * Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements. * Prepare regular financial reports and analysis for the CFO. * Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. * Prepare cash-flow reports, expense reports, revenue reports, and other financial analysis as required. * Monitor company expenses, invoices, payments, and outstanding balances. * Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. * Work closely with internal departments to collect and validate financial information. * Assist with audits, tax-related matters, and regulatory reporting where required. * Ensure accounting records and documentation are maintained in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards. * Support the CFO with ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and management requests. * Identify discrepancies, improve financial processes, and contribute to the development of efficient accounting procedures. ### Forex / Financial Services Responsibilities Experience within the Forex, CFD, online trading, payments, fintech, or broader financial services industry would be highly advantageous.
