POSITION
• Live-out position
• 6 days per week
• 7 working hours per day
• Salary: €1,000–€1,300 per month, depending on experience and qualifications
• Salary is all-inclusive; accommodation, food and personal living expenses are the employee's own responsibility
• Long-term position
• One paid trial day before making a final decision
RESPONSIBILITIES
• General cleaning and housekeeping
• Laundry and ironing, with careful handling of clothing
• Keeping the home clean, tidy and well organised
• Independently planning and completing regular household tasks
• Grocery shopping and organising household supplies
• Ordering groceries, food and other household items when required
• Communicating independently with supermarkets, delivery services and other businesses in English
• Careful handling of furniture, appliances and household belongings
• Helping with our baby when required
• Over time, being able to look after the baby independently once mutual trust has been established

We are looking for someone who:
• Has very good communication skills and speaks conversational English confidently
• Communicates proactively if something is unclear, missing, damaged or needs attention
• Has strong self-organisation and does not need constant instructions or supervision
• Is reliable and punctual
• Is attentive to detail and careful with our belongings
• Is honest, trustworthy and responsible
• Has a calm, mature and solution-oriented personality
• Has excellent personal and household hygiene
• Is genuinely comfortable and caring around babies
• Is looking for a stable, long-term position
REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience working independently in a private household
• Previous experience with babies is strongly preferred
• Valid legal status / work permit allowing employment in Cyprus
• References from previous employers – preferably in Cyprus
• Good conversational English
• Required medical / blood-test documentation and willingness to meet the applicable health and vaccination requirements for working in a household with a newborn
• Driving licence is a plus, but not required. For the right person, we may support obtaining a driving licence in Cyprus in the longer term.
HOLIDAYS
Annual leave will be planned in advance and coordinated together with the family's travel schedule. We are usually away for a holiday period in December, which provides a natural opportunity for part of the annual leave.
