We are looking for a dedicated 12-Step Facilitator to join our therapeutic community and support young adults on their journey of recovery, personal growth, healing, and positive change.
Our community supports young adults as they overcome life's challenges, rebuild their lives, develop greater independence, confidence, and wellbeing. 🌿
🌟 We’re Looking For Someone Who:
💙 Has a strong understanding and personal experience of the 12-Step recovery programme
🌿 Is compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental
✨ Has excellent communication and group facilitation skills
🤝 Can inspire, motivate, and support individuals in their recovery journey
🌱 Understands the challenges associated with addiction, recovery, and personal transformation
🧘 Is emotionally mature, grounded, and able to maintain healthy professional boundaries
💬 Is a good listener and able to create a safe and supportive space
🌞 Is positive, patient, respectful, and encouraging
🤝 Works well as part of a multidisciplinary and therapeutic team
🌱 Your Role May Include:
💙 Supporting residents in understanding and working through the 12 Steps
🤝 Encouraging participation, sharing, reflection, and personal growth
🧘 Creating a safe, respectful, and confidential group environment
📖 Introducing residents to the principles, values, and philosophy of the 12-Step programme
🌱 Supporting individuals in developing healthy coping strategies and recovery tools
💬 Providing encouragement and guidance throughout their recovery journey
🤝 Working closely with the wider therapeutic and support team
🌟 Helping residents build hope, resilience, responsibility, and a strong foundation for long-term recovery
✅ Requirements:
Strong knowledge and understanding of the 12-Step recovery programme
Personal experience of recovery and the 12-Step programme is an advantage
Excellent spoken and written English
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to facilitate groups with confidence, sensitivity, and professionalism
Ability to maintain confidentiality and healthy boundaries
Clear criminal record
Eligible to work in Cyprus
Valid driving licence is an advantage
