Vintage Dental chair - 1940's Ritter hydraulic dental chair. The chair is in original condition. Has only age related wear. The chair was never used and was stored in a crate for over 40 years.
Back story. The chair was made in America by the Ritter company in the late 40's. It was bought by the US army to be used in a medical station for the Korean war of 1950-53. The chair was crated and shipped. Before the ship arrived, the war ended and everything was sent back home again. The crate containing the chair was stored in army warehouses for years. Time passed until one day during cleaning and reorganising the crate broke and the contents were exposed. The Army decided to sell the chair and donate the proceeds.
