RelyEZ Energy Storage Cyprus Ltd is a professional energy storage system integrator focused on utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) BESS.
As we expand across the European market, we are looking for a Solutions Engineer with experience in utility-scale solar PV, electrical power systems, renewable energy, or BESS projects.
Previous BESS experience is preferred but not essential. Candidates with strong utility-scale PV engineering experience, particularly in system design, grid connection, technical proposals, tender support, and customer communication, are encouraged to apply. Training on BESS technologies and solutions will be provided.
The Solutions Engineer will support local commercial teams by providing technical solution design, customer technical communication, tender support, grid-code compliance analysis, and technical enablement.
The objective of this role is to convert customer requirements into competitive and technically compliant PV and BESS solutions while building long-term technical trust with customers across Europe.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline.
Three years of experience in utility-scale solar PV, renewable energy, electrical power systems, BESS solutions.
Practical experience in one or more of the following areas: utility-scale PV system design, electrical system design, grid connection.
Knowledge of utility-scale PV systems, inverters, transformers, medium and high-voltage systems, substations, protection systems, and grid-connection requirements.
Previous experience with BESS system architecture, PCS, EMS, battery containers is preferred.
Candidates with strong utility-scale PV engineering experience and an interest in developing BESS expertise are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of European grid codes and applicable requirements, including G99, G100, VDE, and CE requirements, is preferred.
Fluent English, with the ability to communicate with customers, deliver technical presentations, and participate in business negotiations.
Strong analytical thinking, technical proposal-writing skills, and a customer-oriented mindset.
Ability and willingness to learn BESS technologies, system architecture, operating principles, safety requirements, and commercial applications.
Willingness to travel within Europe and collaborate closely with local commercial and engineering teams.
International experience in utility-scale PV, renewable energy, power systems, or customer-facing technical solutions is highly preferred.
