This particular 35–70mm design is generally associated with Cosina manufacture and was sold under several different brand names, including Revuenon and other third-party labels. The lens is in excellent overall condition and has been very well preserved. The optics are clean and clear, with no fungus or haze visible. Everything works properly and smoothly. The focus ring turns smoothly, the zoom mechanism operates smoothly, and the aperture ring and diaphragm mechanism work correctly. The aperture blades are clean and responsive. Its 35–70mm focal range makes it a very practical everyday vintage lens, covering from moderate wide-angle to short telephoto. It is suitable for general photography, travel, street photography and portraits. It also features a Macro mode for closer focusing and detail photography.
