ACCOUNTANT Location: Pafos, Cyprus Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are seeking an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, banking, and compliance activities. The role involves hands-on bookkeeping, VAT, payroll support, bank coordination, and financial reporting, with exposure to multi-currency transactions and Cyprus regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance • Maintain accounting records and perform data entry in E-Soft • Bookkeeping, reconciliations, and monthly accounts preparation • Prepare and submit VAT returns (Forms 4 & 7) • Assist with management accounts and financial statements • Handle bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations • Support payroll calculations, Social Insurance, GESY, and PAYE submissions • Support corporate tax computations and tax filings • Manage multi-currency transactions and exchange rate tracking • Prepare and process payments, transfers, and confirmations • Manage petty cash and related reporting Banking, Compliance & Reporting • Liaise with banks on payments, inflows, compliance checks, and KYC • Prepare documentation for audits, tax clearance certificates, and bank reviews • Track incoming and outgoing transfers, balances, and outstanding invoices • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports Administration & Coordination • Maintain accurate filing of accounting and tax documentation • Communicate with auditors, banks, lawyers, and government authorities • Coordinate with internal stakeholders regarding contracts, salaries, and reporting Requirements & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience (Cyprus experience preferred) • Knowledge of Cyprus VAT and tax framework • Experience with E-Soft accounting software • Strong Excel skills • Fluent in English; Greek and Russian are strong advantages • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines What We Offer • Competitive salary based on experience • Professional training and development • Support for professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CPA) • Stable role with career growth in a professional environment
