This is Esprit's Celesta loudspeaker cable in a 2.5m pair, the length most often needed when the equipment rack sits between the loudspeakers. Celesta is the middle of the range, above Beta and below Eterna. The series has been discontinued since Esprit introduced the G10 generation in 2026, and that is the only reason the price is what it is. What it does This cable takes the amplifier's output to the drive units, a high current job that calls for a large conductor cross section and a stable connection at each end. Celesta uses 1120 strands of 0.07mm 6N OCC copper. The strands are laid up with an asymmetrical twist and insulated with two different materials in the same cable, a stiffer high temperature PVC and a softer silicone. The shield is progressive rather than continuous, adding layers along the run, and ferrites are fitted at the loudspeaker end. Joints are made with 4 percent silver solder. How it sounds and where it fits Be realistic about what a cable does. Any difference is small next to loudspeaker choice, placement and the room, and it will not be the same in every system. Celesta is aimed at a system somewhere around €6,000 to €15,000, where cheap wire is holding things back but the top of a cable range would be out of proportion to the components.
