Front left and right leave on balanced XLR, and all eight channels are also on RCA, including a dedicated LFE output. Sources connect over eight HDMI inputs, seven rear, one front. Beyond HDMI there are three coaxial and two optical digital inputs, asynchronous USB at up to 24-bit/192kHz, balanced and single ended analogue inputs, and Ethernet for AirPlay and DLNA.How it sounds and where it fitsClasse quotes 0.0005% THD and noise and a stereo digital bypass response of 8Hz to 200kHz, which tells you it was built to be transparent on music as well as films. The room correction is genuinely useful: up to nine parametric filters per channel, plus level and distance calibration, so a difficult room can be tamed without guesswork. It suits a dedicated room with separate power amplifiers, and partners the Classe Sigma MONO monoblocks and Sigma AMP5 from the same collection.
