Pioneer late innovation for 2 channel stereo amplifier with phono stage. Taking into account development in technology Pioneer went to develop good old school 2 channel stereo amp for music, "crash boom bang sound" is for multichannel cinema, and did not go digital amp design= mainly for low cost and plenty of unclean, undefined power for multichannel cinema amps but old school more expensive transistors design.
The result is the direct energy MOS=an audio amplifier technology created by Pioneer that uses Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors (MOSFETs) to deliver clean, efficient sound. A small amplifier with specially developed Mosfets on the output with direct drive short path circuitry.

Brilliant!!! The amp delivers clear undistorted powerful music with full dynamics especially on sensitive speakers >90dB. If my old Denon 90X2 RMS could hear how this baby:rated 1/3 its power, drives the same Titrix Horn loaded Klipch speakers he would go vallistics
