Beautiful matching pair of genuine World Famous Globe-Trotter luxury luggage trunks in classic red with tan leather trim and brass hardware. Originally purchased from Harrods and Browns of London. These are full-size checked luggage trunks and have been well travelled, so they naturally show the expected scuffs and marks from use. They nevertheless remain extremely stylish, distinctive and eye-catching - the kind of luggage that always gets noticed at airports and hotels. The leather handles, straps, brass locks and hardware remain in superb condition, and both trunks retain their original Globe-Trotter interior branding and Made in England markings. There is one small area of damage to the outer shell, which is clearly shown in the photographs. Apart from this, the trunks remain solid and present very well for their age. Traditional Globe-Trotter construction with vulcanised fibreboard bodies, leather trim, reinforced leather corners and quality metal fittings.
