The Canon LEGRIA FS20 is a compact flash-memory camcorder from around 2009, designed for people who want something simple, fun and much more capable for video than a typical phone when it comes to real optical zoom.
One of the biggest advantages of this camcorder is its impressive 37x optical zoom, together with Canon’s 45x Advanced Zoom system. This gives you the freedom to capture subjects that would normally be far beyond the reach of a smartphone camera. Birds, distant buildings, events, people on stage, details across a landscape or simply everyday moments from far away suddenly become much easier and more enjoyable to record.

The camcorder is in excellent overall condition. There are a few small cosmetic imperfections on the body from normal use, but overall it presents very nicely and looks excellent for its age.
Please also note that the soft hand strap shows some normal age-related deterioration, which is common on older camcorders of this type. This is cosmetic and does not affect the operation of the camera.
It comes with a new battery. According to the camcorder's own battery meter, the battery shows more than 3 hours of remaining operating time when fully charged. Please keep in mind that actual battery life can be slightly lower depending on zoom use, screen use, recording conditions and other functions.
Also included is the original Canon wall charger / power adapter.
The supplied power cable uses a 3-pin UK-style plug. For buyers in Greece or other countries using the standard European 2-pin plug, there is no need to replace the charger itself — only the detachable power cable needs to be changed, which is inexpensive and very easy to find.
A USB cable is also included for transferring your recorded videos to a computer.
Important note regarding video transfer:
With this specific model, when transferring videos from either the internal 8 GB memory or an SD card to a computer through USB, the camcorder also needs to be connected to the wall charger / power adapter. This is normal operation for the model and is not a fault.
