Sony handycam ccd-tr510e pal analog camcorder video 8 tested

9 Sony Handycam CCD-TR510E PAL analog camcorder, designed to record onto classic Video 8 / 8mm tapes. The camcorder is in good external condition for its age, with normal signs of previous use. It has been carefully function-tested and, throughout all of my tests, the camera appears to work perfectly and all tested functions operated as they should. The lens is clean, and the live camera image displays correctly. The zoom operates properly, and video recording has been tested successfully. The tape mechanism is also working as it should. The cassette compartment opens and closes smoothly, tapes play normally, and both rewind and fast-forward functions are working correctly. Recording onto tape has also been tested and worked perfectly during my tests. The viewfinder is working properly. There are a few small dust particles visible inside the viewfinder. From inspection, some of this dust appears to move slightly when the camera is shaken or repositioned. The amount is minor and does not interfere with normal viewing or operation. Please note that this camcorder is supplied without the main battery and without the charger. For testing, the camera was powered using an original Sony AC wall adapter together with the appropriate Sony dummy-battery adapter. Using this setup, the camera powered on normally and all of the functions mentioned above were tested successfully. There is also a small original Sony internal/backup battery still installed in its compartment. I have not replaced or disturbed it. There are no signs of leakage, and the compartment is clean. Overall, in all of my testing the camcorder has performed perfectly, with no functional problems observed. A nice original Sony Video 8 Handycam for collectors, vintage-video enthusiasts, or anyone wishing to record and play back classic 8mm analog videotapes. Included: Sony CCD-TR510E PAL camcorder only. Main battery and charger are not included.
