Hama grau ndx4 - 37mm m37 neutral density nd4 camera - excellent

9- 01 A beautiful Hama Grau NDX4 Neutral Density Filter, a classic photographic accessory from the well-known German brand Hama, designed to give photographers and videographers greater control over exposure, especially when shooting in bright daylight. This filter is particularly interesting for vintage film photography enthusiasts, digital camera users and classic camcorder collectors, allowing more creative control over photographs and video recordings. What Does This Filter Do? The Hama NDX4 works like a pair of sunglasses for your camera lens. It reduces the amount of light entering the lens without intentionally changing the colours of your photographs or videos. With its NDX4 strength (ND4), it reduces incoming light by 2 exposure stops, allowing only 25% of the available light to pass through. This offers several creative advantages: Beautiful background blur – Allows you to use wider apertures in bright daylight, helping create portraits and close-up photographs with beautifully blurred backgrounds. Creative motion blur – Makes it possible to use slower shutter speeds to capture flowing water, moving traffic and other creative motion effects. Better exposure control – Particularly useful in strong sunlight when your camera would otherwise require very fast shutter speeds or smaller apertures. Creative video recording – Helps camcorder users achieve more natural-looking motion by allowing slower shutter speeds in bright conditions, where supported by the camera. Neutral colour reproduction – Designed to reduce light without noticeably altering the natural colours of your photographs or videos. Which Cameras and Camcorders Can Use It? The filter features a 37mm screw-in thread (M37), making it compatible with a wide range of classic and modern photographic equipment. It can be used with: Vintage 35mm film cameras and SLR lenses – Excellent for outdoor photography, especially when using sensitive film in bright sunlight. Vintage MiniDV camcorders – Including compatible Sony, Canon, Panasonic and JVC models. Hi8 and Digital8 camcorders – A useful accessory for controlling exposure during outdoor video recording. Digital cameras and mirrorless lenses – Compatible with lenses featuring a 37mm front filter thread. Compact digital camcorders – Ideal for experimenting with outdoor video recordings and creative exposure effects. Important: Compatibility depends on the lens having a 37mm front filter thread, not the camera brand or lens mount. Ideal for Photography & Video This filter is especially useful for: Landscape and nature photography Waterfalls, rivers and moving water Outdoor portraits with blurred backgrounds Street photography in bright sunlight Creative long-exposure photography Vintage film photography Outdoor camcorder recordings Whether you enjoy shooting with a classic film camera or experimenting with vintage camcorders, this little filter can open up new creative possibilities.
