Vintage 1930s siemens bakelite hair dryer original fitted case

Beautiful and unusual vintage Siemens electric hair dryer, believed to date from the 1930s, complete with its original Siemens-branded fitted carrying case. A fantastic piece of early electrical and hairdressing history with a wonderful Art Deco / Machine Age appearance. The dryer has a glossy dark brown/black Bakelite-style body and retains its distinctive period fabric-covered electrical cord and in-line control. The original fitted case is lined in green/olive fabric and still clearly displays the SIEMENS name and logo inside.
