These 3 pieces are vintage mid-century African folk art paintings, a highly collectible style popularized during the 1950s and 1960s.
These types of dynamic, graphic artworks are strongly associated with mid-century art movements across Central Africa.
Characterized by stylized, elongated human silhouettes ("mika" figures), intense movement, and exploding spikes or bursts of white and color representing traditional body ornamentation, grass attire, or energy.
