Sony ccd-tr750e hi8 handycam pal - tested playback via rca no power supply

17 Sony CCD-TR750E Hi8 Handycam PAL video camera recorder, featuring 24x digital zoom, SteadyShot and Hi-Fi stereo sound. The device is in good vintage cosmetic condition, with some signs of age and use, as shown in the photographs. Important: Please Read the Functional Description Carefully The internal viewfinder/display is not working. Therefore, you cannot view the recorded image through the camera's internal viewing system, either when recording or when playing back a tape. However, the camera has been tested by connecting it to an external device through the RCA output connections, and both video and sound output are working very well, delivering a clear picture and good audio. Additionally, when the camera is switched to camera/live mode, the live image is successfully displayed through the RCA connection on an external screen. This confirms that the camera can output a live video signal externally, despite the problem with its internal viewing system. Recommended Use Due to the internal viewing problem, this camcorder is being sold strictly for: Playing back existing Hi8 tapes. Transferring or digitising Hi8 recordings to a computer using a suitable video capture device. Connecting to a TV, monitor or other compatible external equipment through RCA or S-Video connections. Please note that this is not being sold as a fully functional camcorder for normal recording and viewing, but specifically as a playback and tape-transfer device. Power Supply The camera is sold without a power supply/AC adapter. A compatible power supply can be purchased separately. Please Note: Only the functions described above have been tested. The internal viewing system is faulty, and the camera is sold with this limitation clearly disclosed. Please review all photographs and the description carefully before purchasing.
