Between the Waves and Clouds
With every brushstroke of "Between the Waves and Clouds," I wanted to capture that sacred, weightless space where freedom meets determination.
In this piece, the sailboat charts its path through the ocean's deep, rhythmic pulse, suspended beneath a grand sky filled with warm, glowing light. Life often places us right here—navigating turbulent waters below while reaching for the infinite promise above. The vibrant blue sky and rich, dramatic hues of the sky mirror journeys: moments of challenge interwoven with breathtaking beauty.
I painted this to remind us that no matter how vast the sea or unpredictable the winds, we hold the power to guide our own vessel forward.
