Olympus sp-590uz - 12mp digital camera | 26x optical ultra zoom |

18 The Olympus SP-590UZ is an impressive bridge camera from Olympus, combining an extensive zoom range, excellent versatility and advanced photographic controls in a comfortable DSLR-style body. Introduced in 2009, it represents an interesting period in digital camera development, when manufacturers were pushing the boundaries of optical zoom and photographic capabilities. One of its most remarkable features is the powerful 26x optical zoom Olympus ED lens, covering an equivalent focal length of approximately 26–676mm. This gives you the flexibility to photograph everything from wide landscapes and architecture to distant subjects, wildlife and sporting events without changing lenses. The camera also incorporates Olympus Image Stabilization to help reduce camera shake when shooting at longer focal lengths. Main Features 12 Megapixel resolution for detailed photographs. 26x Optical Zoom – an impressive 26–676mm equivalent focal range. Olympus ED Lens – 4.6–119.6mm, f/2.8–5. Image Stabilization for sharper handheld photographs. Full Manual Exposure Control – P, A, S and M modes, giving photography enthusiasts complete creative freedom. Manual Focus for greater control over focusing. High-Speed Continuous Shooting up to 10 frames per second. Multiple scene modes and creative shooting options. Comfortable DSLR-style handling with a proper grip and conveniently positioned controls. Whether you enjoy landscape photography, portraits, travel, wildlife or experimenting with extreme zoom photography, the SP-590UZ offers plenty of creative possibilities. Condition & Included Accessories The camera is in good overall cosmetic condition, as shown in the photographs. It uses xD Picture Cards for image storage and can also accept MicroSD cards when used with a compatible xD-to-MicroSD adapter. I am including: 1GB xD Picture Card. USB card reader, allowing you to transfer your photographs easily to your computer. Power Supply: The camera operates using 4 standard AA batteries (not included). Storage Capacity with the Included 1GB Card The supplied memory card offers the following approximate storage capacities: 343 photographs at 12MP Normal quality. 174 photographs at 12MP Fine quality. 789 photographs at 5MP Normal quality. Important Note Regarding the LCD Screen Please note that there is a small area of screen bleeding towards the bottom-right corner of the LCD screen. This makes that particular area appear slightly darker than the rest of the display. The effect is mainly noticeable when displaying a completely white screen or similarly bright backgrounds. It is not noticeable during normal photograph viewing or playback. I have included photographs demonstrating this condition so that potential buyers can clearly see the issue before purchasing. Additional Sample Photographs I have also included some actual test photographs taken with this camera, including examples using its impressive extended zoom range, allowing you to appreciate the optical zoom capabilities of the Olympus 26x lens. A versatile Olympus superzoom camera with an extraordinary zoom range, manual photographic controls and plenty of creative possibilities, supplied with a memory card and USB card reader so you can start taking photographs straight away.
