I am looking for a kind, trustworthy and experienced live-in carer for my 85-year-old mother in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main duties include:
* Providing daily care, companionship and support.
* Helping with personal care and daily routines as required.
* Medication reminders.
* Cooking and preparing meals.
* Light household duties and keeping the home tidy.
Requirements:
* Excellent spoken English is essential.
* Basic Greek would be an advantage.
* Experience caring for elderly people is highly desirable.
* Must be patient, responsible, reliable and genuinely caring.
Ideally, we are looking for someone already living in Cyprus. This would allow my mother and the potential carer to meet and, subject to the necessary legal permissions, have a trial period to see whether they are comfortable working together. It would also avoid unnecessary travel expenses if the arrangement does not work out.
The person must have the appropriate immigration status and be legally eligible to work for a new employer in Cyprus.
