Opens up to a full double bed. I.e. sleeps a couple. Has storage drawers for storing pillow, blanket n towels ready for guests. Has 3 large cushions. The sitting space is deep, enough as a single bed without opening. Used only for guests once a year long ago. Past 15 years not used at all.as we aged and grandchildren grew up no longer visit all at once.
