This beautiful Pentax Espio 160 Silver version is a stylish and well-built compact 35mm film camera featuring a versatile zoom lens, automatic focus system, built-in flash, multiple shooting modes, self-timer, and a very clear inner green dot focus confirmation display inside the viewfinder, making it extremely easy to understand when your subject is properly focused.
The camera is powered by a CR123A battery (not included).
The camera has a beautiful high-quality silver body design with the classic premium feeling that made the Espio series so popular. It is compact, elegant, and comfortable to use, while still offering many advanced automatic features for effortless photography.
Condition
The condition of this camera is excellent — very close to new — both cosmetically and optically, as shown clearly in the photos.
The only small thing preventing it from being described as “like new” is a tiny spot of fungus visible on the right edge of the viewfinder. Fungus is a common issue in vintage optical equipment and refers to microscopic organic growth that can develop inside optical parts after long exposure to humidity or improper storage conditions over many years.
The camera has been thoroughly treated with UV light, meaning the fungus is completely dead and inactive. This is now only a cosmetic imperfection located on the viewfinder glass itself. It is important to clearly mention that this does not affect the lens or the image path in any way, and therefore it will not affect your photos at all. The spot does not spread, will not worsen, and is only visible in the viewfinder area, not in the actual captured images.
