I bought this console recently second-hand mainly to use for online gaming with friends. It initially had overheating issues, which I fixed by fully cleaning the dust, replacing the thermal paste with high-quality ones, and installing a new fan (approx. €20 part value, labour done personally that would normally cost €50-80 extra).
After this, the console ran quietly, stayed cool, and worked well for hours of gameplay. However, after a large game update, it started showing the error CE-34335-8, related to storage. I have attempted multiple full system reinstalls and recovery processes, but the issue persists.
I am not an expert on this, but based on research this could indicate a storage-related fault, though I cannot confirm this.
Sometimes the system boots and runs, but the error often appears during downloads or data installation.
