This is a versatile all-in-one zoom lens covering a practical 28–200mm range, originally designed for Nikon F-mount film SLR cameras, and fully usable on Nikon F-mount digital DSLR bodies that support screw-drive autofocus.

The lens is in very good overall condition, both cosmetically and optically. The barrel shows only very small signs of normal use, consistent with age.

Optically, the glass is in very good condition with a very small front element scratch. This is a common type of minor surface mark on older lenses and, in most real-world shooting conditions, it does not affect image quality, sharpness, or color rendition. Small front-element imperfections typically sit outside the critical optical path and only under very specific strong backlight situations might they become slightly visible—usually still without meaningful impact on final results.

The lens has been fully tested and is working mechanically and electronically. However, due to the condition and wear of the lens mechanism, autofocus performance is limited in close focusing distances (approximately 2–3 meters and closer). Beyond this range, the lens focuses normally and can be used effectively for general photography, portraits, and telephoto shooting.
