Warehouse assistant

Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client, a leading technology solutions and ICT distribution company, is seeking to recruit a Warehouse Assistant to join their team in Geri Industrial Area, Nicosia.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of goods. Working under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Assistant will help ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse, including receiving deliveries from suppliers and preparing and delivering customer orders, primarily within the Nicosia area.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store goods in the warehouse in accordance with health and safety procedures.

• Load and unload merchandise.

• Monitor incoming orders from suppliers and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Plan deliveries based on product availability and customer requirements.

• Prepare shipping and delivery documentation accurately and on time.

• Ensure the timely delivery of customer orders.

• Assist with periodic stock-taking activities conducted four times per year.

• Support the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse on a daily basis.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• At least two years of previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or similar role.

• Valid forklift licence and relevant operating experience will be considered an advantage.

• Previous experience in an IT or technology-related warehouse environment will be considered an advantage.

• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) will be considered an advantage.

• Good command of the English and Greek language.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
