This beautiful piece is based on its design and features, as a Louis XV style commode (chest of drawers). It follows the Louis XV (Rococo) style, characterized by the "serpentine" (wave-like) front, the "bombé" (curved) sides, and the slender cabriole legs. Made from walnut and the decorative patterns on the drawer fronts are called marquetry (floral/scroll patterns) and parquetry (the geometric border lines). Συρταρερια από Καρυδιά.
