CAPTIVA Workstation MT R72-643. Bought new from notebooksbilliger.de (Germany) at the end of 2024 for EUR 1,069, with a graphics card added afterwards for around EUR 200. I am leaving Cyprus, so it has to go.

THE RAM ALONE IS WORTH MORE THAN THE WHOLE MACHINE
Because of the global memory shortage, DDR5 has roughly tripled over the past year. A new 64 GB DDR5 kit on its own currently goes for EUR 700 to over EUR 1,000, depending on speed. That means the memory sitting inside this PC is worth more than I am asking for the entire computer. If you wanted to, you could pull the 64 GB out, resell it on its own for more than you paid me, and keep the Ryzen 7 7700X, the RTX 3050, the 1 TB NVMe drive and the licensed Windows 11 Pro for nothing. I would rather it went to someone who actually uses it, but that is the maths.

- Video editing: 64 GB handles 4K timelines and heavy previews without stalling
- 3D, CAD and Blender: the 7700X is a serious render CPU
- Virtualisation: run several VMs side by side without thinking about it
- Local AI models: 64 GB of RAM is exactly what you need to run larger LLMs on your own machine
