Elegant pair of Louis XV style carved wood armchairs with beautifully shaped frames, cabriole legs and delicate floral detailing. The chairs feature generously proportioned upholstered seats and backs in a distinctive coral/orange raised floral fabric on a neutral ground, finished with traditional antique-style stud detailing. The upholstery continues across the padded armrests and backs, making the chairs particularly decorative from every angle. The warm-toned carved wooden frames have an attractive aged patina and classic French-inspired proportions.
