Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons in line with the curriculum and the students' level.
- Prepare lesson materials, demonstrations, and practical work that make the subject accessible.
- Set, mark, and give feedback on assignments, tests, and coursework.
- Track student progress and prepare them thoroughly for exams.
- Maintain a focused, positive classroom environment.
- Communicate clearly with students and parents on progress and areas to improve.
- Provide additional support to students who need it.
- Contribute to the wider academic team and department.
Requirements:
- Degree in Physics or a closely related field; a teaching qualification is an advantage.
- Prior teaching experience, ideally at the relevant level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain difficult concepts simply.
- English is must; Greek is plus, additional languages an advantage.
- Confidence engaging and motivating students, with good classroom management.
- Familiarity with the relevant curriculum (national, IGCSE/A-level, or IB, as applicable).
