Powered by the 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine with automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. This is the desirable 5-door long-wheelbase model, with 246,000 km and already registered in Cyprus.
The body presents very well for its age and remains remarkably straight and solid, retaining much of its original character including the Puch badging, original-style steel wheels and period interior.
The vehicle does require some mechanical work as well as interior restoration, particularly the headlining and door cards. It is therefore being sold as a vehicle that would benefit from restoration rather than as a fully restored example.
These early Puch/Mercedes G-Class models are becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly complete long-wheelbase 5-door examples. A great opportunity to restore an increasingly collectible classic while retaining its original character.
