The battery is rated by the manufacturer at approximately 270 shots under standard testing conditions. In real-world use, around 200–250 shots is a more realistic expectation depending on how the camera is used. I personally tested the included battery and was able to achieve 245 shots, which is an excellent result and indicates that the battery is still in healthy condition.
Overall, this is a very nice package for someone looking for a classic Panasonic Lumix with a Leica lens, powerful 10x zoom, solid metal construction and the character of a CCD sensor.
