Vintage Art Deco Automatic Cigarette Roller & Tobacco Tin – Unengraved Monogram Plate
A beautiful classic mid-century vintage automatic cigarette rolling machine and tobacco storage tin, featuring an elegant Art Deco-inspired design and a practical mechanical rolling system.
The plated metal lid is decorated with a detailed engine-turned geometric diamond pattern, surrounding a smooth central cartouche. The central plate remains completely unengraved, making it ideal for adding personal initials, a monogram, or custom engraving.
This particular example is in excellent overall condition for its age, with the original mechanism and rolling components remarkably well preserved and fully functional.
The rear multi-barrel hinge is straight, secure, and perfectly aligned. The lid opens fully and operates smoothly before closing firmly with a satisfying sharp click. The internal metal lifting arms are also properly aligned and track smoothly.
The original tan fabric rolling apron is exceptionally clean and well preserved. It remains tightly pulled and securely attached, with no holes, significant fraying, tears, or old tobacco staining.
The interior tobacco basin is bright, clean, and very well preserved. The exterior metal has developed a beautiful matte, age-appropriate silver patina, complemented by only minor fine handling scratches consistent with its age and use.
Please carefully review all photographs, especially the close-up photos, as they form an important part of the description and provide the most accurate representation of the item's actual condition, including any minor marks, scratches, or signs of age.
Overall, this is a beautifully preserved vintage automatic Rollbox in excellent condition, with an attractive Art Deco design and a blank central plate offering the possibility of personalization. An excellent piece for collectors of vintage tobacciana, mechanical accessories, and mid-century design.
