The Bosch Cookit is certainly among the best-known and best alternatives to the Thermomix. Both appliances target a discerning audience, yet they prioritize different aspects. While Vorwerk focuses on a modern user interface, a fresh design, and smart features with the TM7, Bosch stands out thanks to robust hardware, an extensive range of accessories, and a free recipe ecosystem.
However, both appliances come at a price: the Bosch Cookit costs around 1,400 euros, while Vorwerk’s Thermomix TM7 is even more expensive at 1,549 euros.
The difference is immediately apparent upon unpacking. The Bosch Cookit comes with an extensive array of accessories as standard. Cutting inserts, grating discs, a 3D stirrer, a double whisk, a steam cooking attachment, and a robustly constructed stainless steel bowl are all included. This equipment replaces several kitchen appliances and gives the Cookit a functional edge.
In contrast, the TM7’s package seems almost Spartan. While it does include a spatula, the Varoma steamer, and the new universal blade, expanding the setup requires a significant additional investment.

The Bosch Cookit offers more features as standard and powerful cooking performance.
Compared to the Thermomix, the Bosch Cookit offers many similar functions—and even a few advantages. One standout advantage is certainly the Cookit's ability to sear at 200 degrees, whereas the Thermomix manages only 160 degrees.
